2008 - Y98 MEGA WEDDING CONTEST RULES
REVISED AS OF JANUARY 3, 2008
1. How to enter the contest:
a. The Y98 Mega Wedding contest will begin on Monday, December 17, 2007 at approximately 5:00am CST and end on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at approximately 6:00pm CST.
b. To participate in the contest, submit your “Mega Wedding Love Story” (the “Entry”) at y98.com or via U.S. Mail. All entries must be received by December 31st, 2007 at Midnight CST.
Entries must be submitted through www.y98.com in one of two ways:
A pre-produced video lasting approximately 98 seconds (1 min. 38 sec) or less (the “Video Entry”), or submit a written essay of approximately 100 words or less in length (the “Essay Entry”). Entries should describe how the couple met, fell in love and why the couple feels they are deserving of the Y98 Mega Wedding. To enter online, you must enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address, the Essay or Video Entry, along with a picture of the prospective bride and groom together, as well as the name and date of birth of the prospective bride/groom in the online entry form. One Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online serve provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. KYKY is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outages, or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. For entries by mail, KYKY is not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, misdelivered, postage due, illegible or untimely entries.
c. Both members of the Finalist Couples must be 21 years of age or older and both will be required to visit the KYKY studios located at KYKY, 3100 Market Street St. Louis MO, 63103, and sign the necessary releases together prior to participating in the finals. If the potential Finalist Couples cannot be contacted within 2 hours of attempted notification, or both members of the Finalist Couples do not visit the studio together to sign the necessary contest release within 48 hours after notification, an alternate winner will be selected using the criteria mentioned in Section 5(b) and will be notified by telephone.
d. Each Video or Essay Entry must be the original creative work and/or property of the Contestant and must not contain copyrighted materials or any other materials, which may be restricted, prohibited, or outlawed by Federal, state or local laws. KYKY, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify and/or request removal of any Video or Essay Entry if such Video or Essay Entry contains illegal, indecent, pornographic, sexually explicit content, or otherwise offensive material such as aberrational behavior, graphic violence or drug abuse, or if such Entry contains material whose content is deemed at the sole discretion of KYKY to be unsuitable for public viewing. Each Video or Essay Entry submitted in contest will become property of KYKY and will not be returned.
e. Only entries that include all of the aforementioned entry materials will be considered. One entry per couple, whether via the Internet or U.S. mail.
2. Eligibility restrictions:
a. The contest is open to all KYKY listeners who are 21 years of age or older who are currently single and who reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan/ Y98 listening area. Employees of KYKY, its licensee, its parent corporation, CBS Radio Inc., their affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Listeners are eligible to win a KYKY contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.
e. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and KYKY will reject and delete any entry it discovers to be false or fraudulent.
f. Contest is not open to already married couples wanting to renew their vows, or to any marriage prohibited by the State of Missouri. Grand prize winner and intended spouse must be serious about getting married.
g. Grand prize winner and marriage partner must comply with all applicable state laws, including, but not limited to, obtaining a marriage license, and must get married the afternoon of Thursday, February 14, 2008.
h. Receipt of tuxedo, dress, honeymoon trip, hotel accommodations, catered wedding reception and any other prize associated with the Mega Wedding package are conditional on winner and his or her spouse completing the official marriage ceremony as contemplated by this promotion and these rules.
3. Internet Contests Privacy Policy:

4. Prizes
a. The grand prize couple will receive prizes from the following categories as part of their wedding ceremony on Thursday, February 14, 2008.

Apple Vacations One (1) seven night trip for two adults at one of the below Iberostar Resorts: Iberostar Paraiso Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Iberostar Cozumel in Cozumel, Mexico, Iberostar Bavaro All Suite Resort in Punta Cana, The Domnican Replubic or Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus in La Romana, The Dominican Republic. Trip includes seven-night accommodations, round-trip charter air out of St. Louis, transfers to/from resort, all meals and drinks and the assistance of an Apple Representative. Trip is valid for travel through December 10, 2008. Taxes and additional expenses are solely the responsibility of the winner. Vacations are approved on a promotional basis and are subject to availability. Blackout dates apply. Travel not permitted during holiday periods. Trip is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Coordination includes: room rental for the ceremony and the reception, time set aside for a rehearsal, tables, chairs, linens, some decorations, rentals as needed, food and beverages for 120 people on February 14, 2008. Country Club Limousines • One (1) stretch limousine for up to sixteen (16) passengers for 8 hours of continuous transportation services. Value: $599.99.
• Transportation includes but not limited to: Pick up of bride and wedding party from home/hotel (location TBD) to Sheldon Concert Hall. Pick up of groom and attendants from home/hotel (location TBD) to Sheldon Concert Hall. Drop off of bride and groom to hotel after reception. Limousine Service for wedding party $750
Trotter Photography • A Trotter Package for the bride and groom that includes: All photographs taken on the wedding day in an album, studio bridal or engagement portrait session, 11x14 decorator print, 4x5 black and white print for newspaper, unlimited locations the day of the wedding, a minimum of three hours of continuous coverage including 1 photographer (approximately 125 – 150 photos).

Adam’s Mark Hotel • The Royal Suite for the evening of February 14, 2008. The Royal Suite is a one bedroom suite on the 18th floor that consists of a hospitality room that connects to a king bedroom. The hospitality room is 1138 sq. ft and includes a bar, fireplace, marble bath and two conversation areas.
Adams Mark will also provide complimentary breakfast from room service. Hotel suite for wedding night $2,000.00
TKO DJs • Sheldon Concert Hall on Thursday, February 14th, 2008 (times TBD.
• TKO-DJ will be responsible for delivery, set-up and tear-down of all equipment associated with service.
• TKO-DJ will communicate with the grand prize winners regarding specifications of genres of music, reception programming for music (i.e. what to play during dinner, first dances, and dancing hours). Reception entertainment $599.99
Drunken Fish • A $25.00 per person rehearsal dinner for up to fifty guests.
• Non-alcoholic beverages are included: soda, tea and coffee. Dessert and alcoholic beverages are an additional charge. Rehearsal Dinner $1,250.00
Rosewood Ensemble • One (1) quartet of musicians including three violinists and one cellist to play music during the ceremony. Music will be played as guests arrive at the Sheldon Concert Hall reception venue as well as when the couple and their attendants walk down the aisle and again as the wedding party finishes the ceremony.

Bride and groom may select the type of cake they want up to $399.99.

Radiance Med Spa • A $3,000 Radiance Medspa gift certificate, which may be used towards to two complete laser processes (one per person). This applies to laser hair removal or laser facial process and includes the entire cycle. It does not have to be used for two processes. If one person does not require laser treatment they do not have to redeem the gift certificate.

The wedding ceremony will be held at The Sheldon Concert Hall on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at approximately 5:30pm. The winning couple will be allowed 300 guests for the wedding, 98 guests for the reception, which should include two witnesses. The winning couple may elect to have up to ten (10) attendants or five (5) for the bride and five for the groom in their wedding party. Bridesmaids’ dresses and tuxedo rentals are solely the responsibility of the winner and/or the wedding party guests. These expenses are not included with the grand prize package. Guy Phillips of the Phillips and Company Morning Show will perform the ceremony.
b. All prizes are being awarded in the form a certificate from each provider, which the winners will have to redeem directly from the prize provider. KYKY is not responsible for the provision of any of those goods or services. The winning couple may have to pick up various items at the office of KYKY, 3100 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within the time frame given by the Y98 Marketing Department. No prizes will be mailed for this contest.
c. Winning couple will receive a detailed list of prize package. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including, but not limited to, hotel and hospitality taxes, telephone charges, meals, gratuities, spending money and any other expenses not specifically offered herein. Grand Prize Winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon check in at hotel to cover any incidental expenses. All winners of certificates will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the prize provider. Note: There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply. For the Radiance Med Spa prize, the winners will be subject to approval for the procedures described above by the doctors/facilities providing the treatment. The participating doctors/facilities have the right to refuse the aforementioned procedures at their sole discretion, based on medical reasons, or patient’s unrealistic expectations from the surgery or any other reason they see fit to disqualify the winner. In the event that the any of the participating doctors/facilities choose not to perform surgery on the winner, neither KYKY nor the participating doctors/facilities be obligated to provide a substitute prize.
5. Selection of Winners
a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. A Y98 voting committee will choose five couples as finalists. Couples will be judged on their story, ability and willingness to communicate on air and participate in the contest. The final five couples will be selected on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008. Finalists will be notified via telephone. All finalists and their prospective bride/groom must come to the studio to sign the necessary releases prior to the posting of the pictures and love stories. Failure to do so will result in the disqualification of the couple. If finalists cannot come to the studio by 5:00pm on Friday, January 4th, 2008, another couple will be selected. Both members of the finalist couples will be announced on Monday, January 7th, 2008 at approximately 8:00 a.m. CST.
The entries from the final five couples will be placed on line at www.y98.com from January 7, 2008 at 9:00am through January 14, 2008 at 9:00pm and listeners of the station will be invited to vote for the grand prize couple via the y98.com website. Voting process outlined below. All votes must be registered on www.y98.com.

On January 14th at 9:00pm the Finalist couple with the least amount of votes will be eliminated from the contest.
Round 2 Voting tally for the final four couples will be reset to zero.
Listeners can then vote for one of the final (4) couples. Voting will begin on Tuesday, January 15th at 9:00am and end the same day at 9:00pm.
The couple with the least amount of votes will be eliminated from the contest.
Round 3 Voting tally for the final three couples will be reset to zero.
Listeners can then vote for one of the three remaining finalist couples. Voting will begin on Wednesday, January 16th at 9:00am and end the same day at 9:00pm.

Final Round Voting tally for the final two couples will be reset to zero.
Listeners can then vote for one of the final two (2) couples. Voting will begin on Thursday, January 17th at 9:00am and end on Sunday, January 20th at 9:00pm.
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 Grand Prize winner will be announced.
Limit ten (10) votes per IP address per day.
The grand prize winner will be contacted via telephone on Monday, January 21st, 2008 at 10:00am and must confirm and accept the prize within five hours. On January 22, 2008, Y98 will announce the couple with the most on line votes. This couple will be the recipient of the 2008 Y98 Mega Wedding package.
c. If for any reason the grand prize winner and his/her intended spouse are not both 21 years of age or older or does not meet or fulfill rules criteria, another grand prize winner will be chosen. The couple receiving the 2nd highest number of votes will become the winner.
6. Conditions
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their names, voices or likenesses, and pictures used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of and prize valued at $600.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by KYKY. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold KYKY, its corporate licensee, its corporate parents, their affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prizes or participation in the contest.
d. KYKY, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the KYKY Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. KYKY reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
f. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification at the sole discretion of KYKY.
h. KYKY is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
i. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KYKY, 3100 Market Street St. Louis MO, 63103, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address.
